Sri Venkateshwar International School was felicitated for its exceptional result in ASSET Talent Search 2017 -18. Out of 2,50,000 students from different schools of India, 12 gifted minds from Sri Venkateshwar International School were selected for their exemplary performance in ASSET Talent Search 2017. Parents of these students were called for Asset Summer Programme Orientation Workship on February 07, 2018 at school premises, which was conducted by the experts of Asset Talent Search 2017. School was also awarded for an outstanding result in this national benchmarking exam.
ASSET Summer Programme is a tailored – designed platform, offered to the gifted minds of the country. The lecture enlightened the parents and students about a 3-week residential programme which will be held at Manipal University in Karnataka from May 13, 2018 to June 02, 2018. The highlights of the lecture included discussion of all the 11 courses being offered to the students to enhance their thinking and cognitive skills. The experts also mentioned that the objective of this programme is to engage and stimulate the Gifted Child’s mind as well as to build core skills and competencies required to succeed in the 21st century. The courses offered covers a diverse range of advanced topics that will allow students to accelerate their growth and build a network of like-minded peers.
ATS scholars were also felicitated with a book and a badge for their commendable performance. The school principal, Ms Nita Arora, congratulated the parents for their ward’s brilliant achievement. She also shared her vision for the Summer Residential Programme as she believes that the content of this workshop will definitely help the students to gain hands on experience in domains of science, engineering, mathematics and technology. The eligibility of students in a particular course depends on their individual score in ATS, which was scientifically assessed and analysed. Parents also heartily participated by offering their valuable insights and posed their queries, which were addressed by the experts from the ASSET team.
