Basava International School Dwarka recently won laurels in an event conducted by ChildReach International called “Parliament Voice” by winning the Best Speaker Award. The topics chosen for the event were some of the crucial millennium goals which were very realistic and touched our day to day life. The topics were Universal Primary Education, Eradicating Poverty and Hunger and Gender inequality/women empowerment. The speakers of the school put forth their innovative, novel and practical ideas. They also spoke about every aspect of the problem and realistic solutions to tackle and eradicate them from our society for ever. The honourable judges Sanjeev Sharma, Feroz Patel and Shanta Sinha appreciated the view points and congratulated the participants on bagging the Best Speaker Award.
