Students of Shiksha Bharti Public School took a collective pledge in presence of respected Principal, Coordinators & Teachers for keeping unity, safety and security to make the Nation strong. As it was birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (The Iron man of India), students recited a poem telling the importance of unity. Wing coordinator Mrs. Neeru Dhiman conveyed message about the awareness of unity and strength to achieve anything.
From the school the eight class students along with their respective teachers participated in ‘run for unity march’ organized by ANHLGT (Association of Neighbourhood Ladies Get-Together, Dwarka). Mrs Cicily Kodiyan the President of the association graced the ocassion.
MLA Sh. Rajesh Gahlot Ji – the Chief Guest addressed the students and the gathering. He told about the importance of unity as well as cleanliness. Pledge was taken by everyone present there to keep the surrounding society and country clean. The whole event was covered by Dwarka Parichay – the pioneer media house of the sub-city. Managing Editor of Dwarka Parichay Mr. S.S. Dogra also addressed the students. Refreshment served to students sponsored by Bikaner.
Another activity was conducted in school library for celebrating ‘Vigilance awareness week-2014’. Students of classes VI to VIII participated in it making poster and writing slogans against the topic ‘Root out the corruption before it roots in you’
