Dwarka Forum Governing Body Meeting was held with Mr S K Muan Guite (IFS), DEPUTY CONSERVATOR of FOREST (West) on 1-4-2019 at his Office at Mandir Marg, New Delhi.
Dwarka Forum handed over a letter to Deputy Conservator of Forest (West) on various Forest related issues pertaining to Dwarka Sub City.
DF discussed several issued ranging from Current Status of Vacant Land (particularly jungle) in Dwarka Sub City, issue of roadside trees being used for tying of various types of cables by private cable operators/ Internet companies and loose power (electricity) cables being hanging from one tree to another tree at few places. DF also discussed about the Guidelines for pruning of trees particularly those covering Traffic Signals/ Street lights. DF discussed the issue of removal of trees exist in middle of road/turning point/ crossing etc.
DF also requested DCF for numbering of trees in entire Sub City. We also brought to their notice regarding large scale tying of banners on the trees etc DCF took a note of all the points that emanated from the discussion. Meeting was conducted in good atmosphere and DCF assured to extend all possible help to make citizens life comfortable. The meeting was attended by Mr Arvinder Singh Chhatwal- General Secretary, Mr P. Menon- Treasurer, Mr Anil Prashar- Joint Secretary and Mr Selvarajan – Special Invitee.
