The Vishwa Guru Bharat: National Conference will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Deputy Speaker Hall of the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The conference is being organised by the Maharishi Vashishtha Institute of Gaushala Management and Research Council in collaboration with Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
The conference aims to encourage principals from various states who have made outstanding contributions to education, highlight the role of teachers in nation-building, and recognise ethical leadership and institutional excellence. The National Outstanding Principal Award and the National Pride Award will be presented during the event.
Kapil Mishra, Cabinet Minister in the Delhi Government, will attend as the Chief Guest. Ajay Mahawar, MLA from the Gonda Assembly constituency, and Prof. (Dr.) Rama, Principal of Hansraj College, University of Delhi, will be the Guests of Honour. The programme will be coordinated by Sanjay Vashishtha, Founder President of the Maharishi Vashishtha Institute of Gaushala Management and Research Council.
According to Council President Sanjay Vashishtha, the conference seeks not only to honour individuals for their remarkable contributions to education but also to strengthen the role of education in social progress and nation-building. Education goes beyond textbook knowledge; it plays a vital role in shaping character, discipline, social responsibility, ethical values, and a sense of duty towards the nation. Recognising the achievements of principals and bringing their exemplary work into the spotlight are therefore central objectives of the initiative.
The Maharishi Vashishtha Institute of Gaushala Management and Research Council is organising the conference to promote education, Indian culture, social responsibility, and national interests. In keeping with its vision and areas of engagement, the event will also emphasise Indian traditions, cultural values, and a sense of responsibility towards society.
The organisers believe that honouring teachers and principals will help foster a positive environment for education and inspire other educational institutions to strive for higher standards of excellence.
