GOLD AWARDS on ZTV : Pays a comical dancing tribute to his favorite actor Akshay Kumar

PremBabu Sharma

We know him as the funny man who has been the anchor of super hit shows like Zee TV’s DID L’il Masters and Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar and also as the emcee of numerous television award functions. Manish bagged the Best Anchor award for Zee TV’s DID L’il Masters this year.

To add to his joy his long standing wish of performing at an awards function came true this year at the 4thBoroplus Gold Awards 2011. Reports have it that Manish had the audience in splits as he took to the stage and paid a comical dance tribute to his favorite movie star, Akshay Kumar. Manish carried off the colorful “Tees Maar Khan” costume with panache and spoofed the Khiladi Kumar’s inimitable style, replete with the actor’s trademark gimmicky stunts!
Manish said, “I’ve always had this urge to shake a leg while hosting Dance India Dance but never got the opportunity. I have never been taken seriously as a dancer and I was dying to prove everybody wrong by putting my best foot forward in my debut stage act. I loved the response of the crowd at the cremeony … I hope the TV audiences enjoy it just as much!”
Way to go, Manish! Till date, we’ve only seen the comedian in you, but now we guess producers of celebrity dance reality shows might just make a beeline at your doorstep.

RASHMI DESAI FAINTS AFTER HERROMANTIC ACT WITH NANDISH SANDHU

The passion of romance ain’t for the faint-hearted! Looks like Rashmi couldn;t handle all the mush and collapsed after her lovey dovey act opposite Nandish Sandhu at  Zee TV’s Boroplus 4th Gold Awards 2011.  3 of television industry’s cutest couples – Rashmi Desai – Nandish Sandhu, Jay Bhanushali – Mahi Vij and Rucha and Vishal Singh stirred up romance in the air with their beautiful couples act at the awards ceremony.
2 out of the 3 couples, Rashmi-Nandish and Jay-Mahi were real life couples, making the essence of the act come alive naturally as the dancers looked into each other’s eyes meaningfully and they were in beautiful sync.
Make sure to watch Rashmi and Nandish’s super romantic act with your loved one and fall in love all over again. The twist in the tale, however, came as soon as the act got over – Rashmi fainted! Everyone thought “Rashmi wants to make full use of the romantic moment and just lie in Nandish’s arms”. Alarm bells rang when there were no signs of movement and Rashmi lay still on the floor. Nandish rushed to her rescue like a knight in shining armor, carried her in his arms and took her to an airy place. He splashed water on her face and patted her lovingly. People heaved a sigh of relief the moment she opened her eyes. Rashmi was fine after drinking glucose and resting for a while. “Rashmi has been working non-stop for the past few days sleeping very little. Her condition worsened when the entire stage was filled with smoke. But everything is under control now”, said Nandish with a relieved smile on his face.

These Vamps can Dance, Saala!
Aashka Goradia, Meghna Malik and Ashita Dhawan
floor the audience with their moves at Zee TV’s 4th Boroplus Gold Awards 2011
They’re wicked, they’ve got spunk and they spiced up the evening with their scinitillating dance acts at Zee TV’s 4th Boroplus Gold Awards 2011. Yes! Television’s mean girls Aashka Goradia, Meghna Malik and Ashita Dhawan are not good at just scheming and plotting and smiling wickedly when the heroine falls prey to their designs. They’re a bunch of talented dancers too!
Giving the audience a whiff of their dancing potential, and perhaps sending a hint in the direction of dance reality show producers, this awesome threesome rocked the stage with oomph and panache. While Aashka Goradia put Deepika Padukone to shame with her sensuous Dum Maaro Dum ditty, Meghna Malik became a daaaaarrrrrling! of the crowd by doing a Priyanka from Saat Khoon Maaf. Ashita Dhawan kicked some serious ass with her punchy Aali Re Saali Re from No One Killed Jessica.
Dressed to kill, the threesome got together and danced in sync after their individual item numbers, sending the men amongst the audience into a tizzy!
