JMIS took the initiative to organize a peace walk

To promote awareness among the citizens of our society, JMIS took the initiative to organize a peace walk. The school tried to sensitize the residents of the adjoining areas by taking out a rally. The rally was flagged-off  by the Principal Ms. Anuradha Govind.

The students leading the peace-march displayed the word “Peace” made up of multicolor balloons. The Peace-March started from the school at 9.30am, the students started walking towards the Rudra Appt. of sector-6 Dwarka through the service lane, proceeded towards the red-light of sector 6, turned towards the Vishwa Bharti Public School, walking past the MTNL Exchange and finally ended in the school.

The students made peace badges and banners. They wore peace badges, and carried the banners having slogans. Students holding the placards tried to spread the message of peace. Class VII wore white T-shirts with peace symbol to signify the importance of peace in our society.

The students carried the banners and placards to promote peace, community gardening, cleanliness, obeying traffic rules. The students learnt and took pledge to maintain peace on road.
