A Mega Diabetes awareness camp was organised by Dwarka Diabetes Association with the help of Diabetes research and care trust on 17th July. Camp was organised on Occasion of BARSHA BARAN event organized by Aikotaan Kaliobari O sewa Samiti of Dwarka. Around 150 members of Samiti utilised the benefits of this major camp. The residents availed various testing facilities like lipid profile, Hba1c ,uric acid, thyroid profile,bone densitometery, retinopathy checkup,neuropathy checkup,blood sugar, BP checkup, diet counselings and insulin counselings etc.
In the end one interactive session of doctors and public were organised which was very successful. Dr Amitabh Khanna Senior Consultant diabetologist, Dr Anupama Khanna, Sr consultant Gynaecologist , Dr Sumant Srivastava Sr consultant International cardiologist, Dr Rohit Gera Sr consultant ophthalmologist attended the session and replied the queries of attendees.
