Living examples of this new future are led by people who have a different view of what leadership means and can do. They view it as a behavior, not a title. They don’t coerce or threaten to achieve results, they inspire others to act. These people are the ones that everyone else looks up as they are leaving indelible marks on society. To honour and celebrate the leadership qualities among the educators who have significantly contributed in the field of education, the Coordination Committee of Public Schools (Regd) had organized Shikshak Samaan Award 2014 on September 14, 2014 at Indian International Centre, New Delhi. Ms. Archana Narain, Principal of The India Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka is the proud recipient of this prestigious Shikshak Samaan Award. The award was presented by the Ms. Uma Bharti – Honourable Union Cabinet Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Govt. of India, to Ms. Archana Narain for her contribution in taking her school to the greater heights. With her open and transparent approach taking the entire Staff along with her to reach out to the purpose of education has made her presence sought after as being a ‘Pillar of Strength’ to the School. Her contribution in bringing the school to the forefront of success and recognition is highly appreciated. It is truly said that an inspiring leader not only lives the life he/she has imagined but encourages others also to follow their dreams.
