Shiksha Bharati Public School, Sector 7, Dwarka organised Jhankar – Inter school competition as an opportunity for the budding dancers and singers. It was held on 14th December 2017 in the school Auditorium. The Chief Guest was Shri Pulkit Mishra – Kathak Dancer and disciple of Shri Briju Maharaj, guest of honour was Guru Kanak Sudhakar – Kuchipudi dancer.
The Chief Guest lighted the lamp with hon’ble Manager Madam which was followed by Ganesh Vandana performed by the students in the form of dance. The Chief Guest was given a warm welcome with a bouquet, memento and a shawl by hon’ble Manager Madam. The chief guest’s speech was enthralling. He praised the performances of the participants. He promised to take the best two teams to the National level.
Solo Ghazal, Group Patriotic Song, Classical Group Dance, Group Folk Dance and Duet Western Dance competitions were held. Experienced and Competent judges adjudged the competitions on the day. The schools which secured first second and third positions were given away mementos and certificates by the distinguished guests, judges, Director sir and Principal madam. Host school passed its positions wherever it secured. Rolling trophy was won by Shiksha Bharati Public School.
Participation certificates were given away to all the participants. Total 15 schools participated with 260 participants. Vote of thanks was proposed by Vanshika of class XII. Honorable manager ma’am conveyed her blessings to all the participants. Respected Director Sir declared the first positions and congratulated all the winners and participants. Everyone enjoyed the competitions.
