New Delhi: 10th May 26: The 19th Annual Cultural Celebration “Aarohan 2026,” organized by the Melody Foundation at Bharatmuni Natyagriha Auditorium, CCRT Dwarka, turned into a memorable festival of music, dance, and talent. The event beautifully reflected a harmonious blend of art, culture and inclusivity.
The programme commenced with a mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana. Welcoming the guests, Madhumita Acharyya, Founder and Organizer of Melody Foundation, stated that the institution aims to provide a platform to emerging talents while promoting social inclusivity through art and culture.
he cultural evening featured captivating group songs rooted in classical music, a quiz based on Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, a Bengali group dance performance, and soulful renditions of Raag Yaman, Raag Shuddha Kalyan, and Raag Malkauns by young participants. The presentation “Kathak Samarpan” by the artists left the audience spellbound. A special musical tribute dedicated to Asha Bhosle also emerged as one of the highlights of the evening.
Chief Guest Dr. Chetan Joshi, renowned flautist and recipient of the Sangeet Natak Award, remarked, “Music is not merely a medium of entertainment; it is a powerful force that nurtures values, sensitivity and inner peace.” He appreciated the efforts of Melody Foundation in encouraging young talent and promoting inclusivity through cultural activities.
Distinguished guests present on the occasion included Puneeta Ji, Anup Biruly, Shailesh Singh, Namrata Ji and Prof. S. S. Dogra. During the event, all faculty members and students of Melody Foundation were also felicitated for their contributions and achievements. The programme was gracefully compered by Swati, Vijay Lakshmi, and Surbhi. The entire celebration emotionally connected the audience with the rich heritage of Indian music and culture.
