With monsoons approaching in few months, citizens and activists have taken the onus of protecting the water body and nearby woodland in Dwarka Sector 23.
Delhi is facing acute water shortage these days. In same Delhi, we have a living example where our friends have worked for years and got an ancient water body revived near Pochanpur Village, Sector 23 Dwarka. This water body is leading a rise in locality’s ground water levels and its quality has also improved.
Work is being done by our team on regular basis. We have planted 3 saplings near the water body within the Natural Woodland area.
A lot more has to be done, we seek everybody’s support to make things happen. While DDA has not refused to help us but we want our vision to be turned into reality with our own hands and ideas.
