Students of J M International School visited the High commission of Ghana

On 28th August 2015, class 8 students of J M International School visited the High commission of Ghana to donate story books and study material for children of Ghana. They were welcomed with open arms at the embassy. First they met Mrs. Plahar- Aryee who took them to the conference hall. Soon High Commissioner GHANA Samuel panyin yalley arrived. He interacted and introduced with every student followed by eulogizing words for Indian students and specially J M International School principal for the brilliant idea which made the students empathized and motivated them to help Ghana children by contributing their own story books and study material, which would surely strengthen the relationship with international Community. Students quenched their thirst by asking interesting questions which were answered by Mrs. Jennifer Lartey Minister/ Head of Chancery. She shed light on the life of a diplomat, her experience in India and the life in Ghana. She liked the Indian dress saree the most and culture of touching elder’s feet for respect. At the end she spoke about how education and good friends help in one’s life followed by Indian National Anthem.
