‘‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign at The Indian Heights School


The Indian Height school sector 23, Dwarka once again participated with zeal and enthusiasm in ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ from September 1 – September 15, 2018 where students participated in array of activities such as Slogan Writing Competition, Essay Writing Competition. On September 15, 2018 under ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign students took pledge and also carried out ‘Green School Drive’ & ‘Say No to Plastic campaign’, followed by cleanliness activities wherein students enthusiastically took up dusters and rags and garbage bags to clean up every nook and corner of the class rooms, corridors and nearby surroundings. Later they attended the Address by the Honourable Prime Minister with the core message of ‘Swachhagrah’. Holding flashcards and posters related to cleanliness the students participated in a march past and also distributed paper bags to the passersby and shopkeepers of the nearby Mall. The whole event was supervised by Mr. Yash Makkar, Assistant Secretary (CBSE). He appreciated the efforts of the school in inculcating the importance of cleanliness among students.
