After grand success of DLCL 2012 (Delhi L’il Cricket League) the Delhi L’il Cricket League (DLCL) going to organise DLCL 2013. DLCL is formed by HRDO (Human Research & Development Organisation, New Delhi), this is a Cricket Learning League which is organized on the pattern of Twenty20 cricket format. It is initiated by HRDO to give a competition platform for U19 and 14 age group child. The Delhi L’il Cricket League (DLCL) is affiliated to Indian Premier Corporate League approved by NYK Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India and Official league of Indian Twenty20 Cricket Federation (ITCF).
The following 19 players were selected on point basis. Himanshu Yadav- Spring Medows Public School,Saurabh Goyal- Govt. Boys Sr. Sec School, Abhishek Rana- St. Andrws Scots Sr. Sec School,Manjeet Singh,Kartikey Sharma- Rao Man Singh Public School,Prakhar Pachouri, Harsh Pachouri- Gagan Bharti Convent, Nikhil Negi- Sanjeevni Public School, Jatin Wadhwa- Spring Medows Public School, Anurag Rajput- Kamal Model Sr. Sec School, Rishabh Verma- Kamal Model Sr. Sec School, Varun Kr. Rai- Govt. Boys Sec School, Sahil Jangra- Sanjeevni Public School, Tushar Bhardwaj, Jatin Tutlani- Sanjeevni Public School,Arjun Pandey, Avinash Kumar Singh- R.S.B.V. Tilakpuri, Nitesh Thakur- St. Mary’s Sr. Sec School.
On this occasion, Mr. Ganesh Dutt-Chairman of HRDO, Mr. Manoj Thakur – VP (DLCL), Mr. Satender Negi – VP (DLCL), Dr. Sanjeev Kumar – Counselor (HRDO), Coach- Vikas Yadav, Ghanshyam (DDA Sports- West Delhi), and Mr. Jagat Singh- B.P.Ed, NIS Gwalior- selector were also present in the first trial held in Basava International School.
The important concern of the organizer is to aware parents about their children’s cricketing skill. Parents can evaluate talent of their child during tournament so that they can judge honestly for children’s future, HRDO highlights the outstanding players’ records on their official website to encourage the budding cricketer. This is an excellent platform for the cricket enthusiasts to show their talent even in front of former Indian & Ranji Cricket Players and get an opportunity to excel in the cricket field.
