AARONIC CHILD FOUNDATION felicitated the great wrestler Deepika Kaliraman & Sonika Kaliraman the daughter of late Padamshri Arjun Awardee Shri Master Chandgiram Pehlwan at MRV School, Sector-13, Dwarka.
Mrs. Pritima Khandelwal-the organizer of the programme informed Dwarka Parichay that shooting part of a documentary A Father In India:, on his daughters first India women wrestlers Ms. Deepika Kaliraman & Sonika Kaliraman was shot. at Baba Shyam Mandir, Pochanpur village, Dwarka where Self defense training to young girls was organized.
In MRV School, Dwarka. both the daughters of late famous wrestler were honored by the foundation. Mr. Sushant Dwivedi-the music teacher of Shiksha Bharti Public School along with his students sang a welcome song. Ms. Deepika Kaliraman & Sonika Kaliraman shared their childhood experiences revealed that how their parents motivated them to excel in the wrestling world. Ms. Deepika Kaliraman even gave away useful tips to young girls for self defense. Mrs. Bhavna Babbar Manager of MRV School, Mr.S.S.Dogra-Senior Journalist & Managing Editor of Dwarka Parichay, Mr. Akhilesh Pandey-Senior Journalist, Mrs. Rekha Jhingan-social activist, Mrs. Promila Malik-Social actitist, Mrs. Neelam-Govt. teacher, Mr.Sanjay Jain-Poet also graced the occasion.
