Vandana International Senior Secondary School, Dwarka organized the investiture ceremony for the secondary wing on 16th August, 2013. Mrs. Vandana Tandon, Manager VIS, Mr. Harsh Tandon , Vice Chairman and Mrs. Akansha Tandon, Academic Director were the Chief Guests for the occasion. They invested the newly elected council members with their portfolios and responsibilities and formally inducted them into the school prefectorial council for the academic session 2013-2014. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp to bequeath an auspicious start to the event. The cultural programme comprised of a mellifluous rendition by the school choir and an enthralling dance performance. The senior students showcased an impressive powerpoint presentation on leadership and the consequent success it engendess in an individual. The newly elected council members then took the oath of office and pledged their unstinting allegiance to the institution and to be ever cognizant of their obligations.
The academic director in her address felicitated the office bearers and exhorted them to discharge their duties efficaciously and with utmost dedication and sincerity.
