13th November, Dwarkaites learnt a lesson on how to deal
delinquent public authority on solving public grievances, good governance,
effective use of RTI. The Central Information Commissioner, Shailesh
Gandhi  inaugurated the workshop to
educate the participants on the effective use of Right to Information (RTI).

While addressing the delegates, Sh.Shailash Gandhi advised that we
should fight for good governance. 
Transparency is required in the system. Moreover, RTI should be filed
simply within 150-200 words. It should be short & focused. He even
interacted with the representatives of Societies, RWA & various social
organizations of dwarka who raised several questions.
Apart from this, Rajesh Gahlot, Member, DDA and Ex. Dy.
Mayor, Delhi informed  the residents
about various on-going and future schemes for Dwarka particularly of M.C.D.
& D.D.A. Mr. Gahlot informed dwakaparichay that more than 18 community
Halls will allotted soon for dwarka & Bharat Vandana Park in Sector 20 with
a huge area of 200 acre land with all modern facilities. The Dwarka Forum organized the workshop for the office bearers of
CGHS, RWA’s and other stake holders of Dwarka. 
Mr. Rejimon C.K. President of
the Forum told that Forum has now become the voice of Dwarka and in an action
oriented approach, Forum passed three resolutions demanding equal water for
Dwarka with the rest of Delhi, early start of construction of 750-bed hospital
and unification of Dwarka’s MCD wards and MLA Constituencies. Sampath Kumar, a
leading social worker gave a presentation of effective Management of CGHS. 
The
workshop was well attended by Mr.Sushil Kumar-General Secretary,
Mr.M.K.Gupta-Media Advisor, Mr.Rajiv Solanki-Vice President, Ms.Madhuri,
Ms.Sudha Iyer, Mr.Anil Nayal, Anoop Roera, Mr.Anil Rajput etc. from Dwarka Forum, Mr.Mukesh
Sinha, Advocate P.S.Singh, Advocate J.B.Mudgil, Mr.Sanjeev Goyal,
Mr.Ghanshyam-P.R.O.-Bhagat Hospital, Dwarka, Ms. Tripti Pathak etc.
