An Awareness Programme was organised on “The World No Tobacco Day” in the Society Park of Peepal Apartments Dwarka, New Delhi by “Sahaj Sambhav”. The motto of the event was to spread out the awareness about the ill-effects of the usage of tobacco. There was very nice gathering at the venue. Almost all the genders and of all age groups i.e. children, teenagers, youngsters, gents, ladies and senior citizens participated in the event. The Chief Guest of the event was Sh. Mahabal Misra, Member of Parliament (West Delhi). He shared nice and brief speech among the gathering in order to stay away from tobacco. He also appreciated the initiatives and work done by “Sahaj Sambhav” for the society. Mrs. Rekha Jhingan also had few words about the causes of usage of tobacco and the steps to be taken for tobacco free society among the people.
In the event, a magic show was also organised which children relished a lot. During the show the magician conveyed positive messages about the tobacco through his magical tricks. Presentations were also shown through electronic media in which people took interest and appreciated as well. As a whole the event was quite entertaining and educating as well.
