Development Authority (Officials of WD-12) & Dwarka Forum (volunteers) jointly conducted a survey of Sector-6 Dwarka on Saturday, the 26th September, 2020. Started from Skylark Apartments and covered maximum area of Sector-6, Dwarka, New Delhi. Good number of area residents participated and briefed the issues of their area.
The major issues raised by the residents are urgent need of carpeting of certain very busy roads & service lanes, proper repairing of un-even footpaths, replacement broken slabs, placing covers on all open sewers, pruning of tree, particularly those covering street light poles etc. The team consisting of (from DDA) : Shri Lakhmi Chand- Executive Engineer, Shri S. K. Kaushik – Assistant Engineer, Shri Vicky Verma – Junior Engineer, and (from Dwarka Forum) : Shri A. S. Chhatwal – General Secretary and Ms Sudha Iyer – Joint Secretary. Good number of residents of Sector-6, Dwarka and representatives of various Societies/RWAs participated in the survey. All the issues were properly noted by DDA officials. Shri Lakhmi Chand, Executive Engineer, DDA assured to take suitable action on priority.
