It came into existence on 9th Nov.,2000. But in short period of 13 years, it is an interesting fact that it has 6 C.M. so far. The list of all C.M. as follows: 1)Sh.Nityanand Swami(Nov.2K to Oct.2001),

3. Sh.N.D.Tiwari(March,2002 to March,2007),
4.Sh.B.C. Khanduri(March,2007 to Sept.09 & Sept.2011 to March,2012),
5. Sh. Ramesh Pokhriyal(June,09 to Sept.2011) &
6. Sh.Vijay Bahuguna(March,2012 to till date). Means Sh.N.D.Tiwari has been the C.M. of UK for longest time. During Sh. Tiwari’s tenure UTTRANCHAL CONCLAVE was also organized by The Uttaranchal Tourism Development Board (UTDB) in cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) from February 22-24, in 2003 @ J.P.Residency, Mussoorie & I was invited by UK Govt. A visit to Sir George Everest Estate, Rishikesh and Hardwar with white water rafting in Ganges, Dhanolti & above all Special Helicopter ride from Mussorrie to Dehradun are memorable moments of my life. Although I belong to Himachal Pradesh but entire Uttarakhand is my favourite destination.
