Annual Cultural Day celebration at Sri VIS

The morning of September 15, 2012 witnessed the excitement and exuberance at Sri VIS, a niche where dreams come true. This year Class III had its own Cultural Day. Shri H R Singh, Director, IGP- CRPF Academy, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Group Captain Ishwar Singh, Advisor, Venkateshwar Group of Schools and Air Commodore CM Singla, Vir Chakra Awardee, Ex Chairman and MD Pawan Hans Ltd were the Guests of Honour. The School Chairman Mr. Sailander Solanki, the motivating force made his presence felt. The Principal Ms Nita Arora, a dynamic lady with indomitable spirit addressed the gathering of the proud parents and welcomed them. 


Sri VIS truly believes that “The parent is and will remain, the first and the most important teacher a child has.”The young students of Class III rendered a melodious tribute to their parents by presenting “On Top of the World”.

The curtains were raised for the play “Pied Piper of Hamelin”- A piece of theatre that retains its nostalgic charm till date. The confidence, attitude and poise seemed oozing out of the performers. They left the spectators spellbound by their enthralling performance. 


The energising day ended with a vote of thanks by Primary Wing Coordinator Ms Malini Pandey. The Chief Guest motivated the students to be brave enough to follow their dreams. He also shared that one must love what they are doing, as it is what will give them true happiness.

The Guests of Honour addressed the gathering and inspired the enthusiastic crowd to think out of the closet and face the challenges with a smile.
