A *Talk Show* on *”KIDNEY HEALTH for EVERYONE EVERYWHERE”* was organised on 14th March, 2019 by Age Well Association in collaboration with Venkateshwar Hospital on *World Kidney Day.* Dr. P P Varma, Senior Consultant from the hospital deliberated on kidneys disorders, it’s symptoms, precautions, prevention, treatment and transplant in detail . Dr Varma also responded to the queries raised by a large number of participants. Power point presentation helped participants to learn more about the organ’s functioning. Dr Gupta, Urologist talked of kidneys stones and it’s treatment.
More than 120 persons including a few in-house patients attended the health talk. The auditorium was filled completely to its entire seating capacity, besides a number of participants had to occupy passage area to attend the talk.
Earlier, P K Chopra, General Secretary of Age Well Association welcomed the gathering and highlighted the activities undertaken by the Association in the past four years.
Lunch was served after the health talk. We received overwhelming feedback from participants who were more than happy to be part of the talk show. A large number of persons in attendance expressed their desire to be invitees for the future activities of Age Well Association.
