In its endeavor to motivate and encourage excellence, Maxfort School, Dwarka, initiated the 1st Dwarka Toppers Student Award -2013 on 7th July, 2013 (Sunday) in collaboration with Dwarka Parichay- a leading portal in Dwarka, and in association with Society for Creatives. The award ceremony was organized to felicitate the students of different schools in Dwarka.
Over 35 schools from Dwarka participated with around 800 students who were applauded for their commendable achievement. The ceremony was presided by the Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Prof. Dilip K. Bandyopadhyay, who guided the students for their future and encouraged them to continue the good work. The Guest of Honour was Sh. Mahabal Mishra, Member of Parliament ( West Delhi ) and Special Guest was Sh. Rajesh Gahlot , Chairman, Standing Committee, SDMC.
The 18 toppers of Maxfort School who were appreciated and felicitated by Dwarka Parichay also volunteered their services to make the event a success. In its endeavour to empower life, Maxfort School, Dwarka gave a platform to students of other schools to be young leaders of tomorrow.
The School Director, Ms. Deepa Kumar very aptly said that scoring a perfect 10 or a perfect 9 is not difficult but to sustain the same momentum is important and difficult. The Head of School, Ms. Priyanka Bhatkoti, encouraged the students and congratulated the young achievers for their commendable feat.
