Apeejay School of Management organized Youth Summit on Environment & Sustainability on 13 November 2013. Prof Ashok Ogra, Director, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, inaugurated the summit and encouraged the youth to take up leadership role in saving the planet earth from environmental decadeance. Environment Quiz, Power-point Presentation, Poster-making and Nature Photography were held on the occasion.
Vikas Prasad and Arjun Narain of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology won first prize in environment quiz while the second prize went to Jagriti Chhabra and Somya Gaur of Delhi Institute of Advance Studies. Anshu Jhakar of Janaki Devi Memorial College and Vaibhav Sharma of Delhi Institute of Advance Studies won first and second prize respectively in Nature Photography.
Upasana Sharma and Debanjan Bannerjee of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology won first prize, while Lepakshi Bajaj and Anshu Jakhar of Janaki Devi Memorial College won second prize in poster making competition. Team of Vikas Prasad and Arjun Narain of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology won first prize in Power Point Presentation while Bhavya Garg and Yash Sharma of Delhi Institute of Advance Studies got the second prize in this event. Dr. Etinder Pal Singh and Dr. Srirang Jha gave away the prizes. The event was sponsored by Government of NCT Delhi.
