Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Assesment & Collection Department (Najafgarh Zone), in a commendable move towards community outreach and service efficiency, organised a Property Tax Collection Camp at HAPPY HOME APARTMENTS , Plot No. 12/A, Sector-7, Dwarka, New Delhi on Saturday, the 11th May 2024.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from residents and neighbouring societies alike, marking a significant step forward in fostering closer ties between the MCD and the community it serves.
MCD team led by Shri Ajay Kumar, Joint Assessor and Collector (Najafgarh Zone), with Shri Niranjan Kumar, Assistant Assessor and Collector, and Shri A. S. Chhatwal, Sahbhagita Ambassador, were warmly welcomed by Shri Naresh Bhutani – President, Mrs.Sarita Rajput -Secretary, Shri C S Prasad-Treasurer and MC Members-Shri Subhash Karunakaran, Shri Harsh Agnihotri, Shri Amolak Singh .
The presence of a large number of residents of Happy Home Apartments
and other neighbouring societies underscored the significance of this initiative in addressing community concerns.
During the camp, Shri Ajay Kumar briefed the gathering about Sahbhagita Scheme and appealed the residents for Geo-Tagging of properties.
The MCD team answered all the queries of the participants upto their satisfaction. Queries regarding 10% Tax incentive for registered RWAs and Cooperative Group Housing Societies on 90% compliance under the Sahbhagita Scheme were aptly replied by Shri A S Chhatwal.
Expressing their satisfaction with MCD’s proactive approach, residents conveyed their appreciation for the confidence-building measures undertaken and expressed their desire for such initiatives to continue in the future.
In a gesture of gratitude, Mrs.Sarita Rajput, Secretary and Shri Amolak Singh, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to the MCD officials and Sahbhagita Ambassador, commending them for their unique services and commitment to community welfare.
