Engineers urged to adopt emerging new technologies to increase business prospects

xperts attending the webinar on ‘Emerging Technologies in the Infrastructure Sector’ organised by the Consulting Engineer Association of India (CEAI), the apex body of consulting engineers in the country have urged the engineering companies to adopt and extensively use digital technologies to increase business and meet the growing needs of the customers .

Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the Internet of Things (IoT) are dramatically reshaping the construction by driving away long-standing inefficacies, and low productivity. The collision of Technology and Infrastructure is changing the way cities, countries and regions confront the daunting infrastructure challenges which require innovative, affordable and sustainable solutions” sai Mr Amitabha Ghosal, President Consulting Engineers Association o Indias (CEAI) 

” Emerging Technologies are playing a crucial role in the development of infrastructure by the upgradation of urban areas to smart cities and controlling and monitoring the infra projects “ said MrPradeep Khanna, Founder ,Global Mindset who was moderating the session also .

“The largest urban transformation of the 21st century is happening in India, with an anticipated investment of US$ 1 trillion by 2030, as reported by the World Economic Forum. This will bring about a massive demand for the use of Emerging Digital Technologies in the Infrastructure Sector.” said Mr Ananth Kitappa founder Vector solutions .
