Shanghai based TONY THE TAILOR having stitched suits for who’s who in the celebrity world including Hollywood stars Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Danny glover & Jonathan Kite has come home by setting up his first bespoke tailoring shop in the millennium city Gurugram .
Legendary Tennis player Leander Paes,who is also client of Tony The Tailor along-with RJ Naved and well-known Television comedians Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda of Kapil Sharma show fame inaugurated the high-end tailoring store at Element One Mall in Gurugram.
Tony specialises in bespoke suits and his clientele includes many high-profile names, including politicians, businessmen and film stars from across the world. To name a few….famous Tennis players Milos Raonic , Mardy Fish, Ivo Karlović and John Peers, Basket ball player Yao Ming and many Bollywood Stars….

“I received the fine art of tailoring from my father’s bespoke tailoring shop in Hong Kong, watching my father use his gentle fingers like an artist painting on a canvas. For 27 years, I travelled all over the world selling mail order suits,I moved to Shanghai in 2004 and opened a store in Changle Road in downtown Shanghai establishing myself as a global brand. Now my customers come from as far as the United States, Europe & Australia “ He added.
“The most difficult part of dealing with celebrity clients is when they put up some extra pounds….we are the first ones to learn about changes but being owner of a tailoring shop we have to keep such secrets stitched up tight. My Business and my clients are more important to me than anything else” he said.
