On December 16, 2012 a Grand Health Mela was organised by Medfort eye care in association with Senior Citizens Association, Dwarka at CCRT Auditorium, Sector- 7, Dwarka. The Health Mela was conducted as a part of series of Medical Camps being organised by Senior Citizens Association, Dwarka
Over Hundred and fifty elderly availed the services being offered in the Mela ranging Eye Care, Vision Testing, Hearing Advice, Orthopaedic Problem check-up, Blood Sugar, BP checking etc.
Dr S S Gupta, Eye Specialist from Medfort gave a very enlightening talk with slide show on cataract operation and other Eye ailments. Senior Citizens actively participated in the discussions.
Dr Shekhar Chandra , Orthopaedic Surgeon from Apollo Hospital was kind enough to extend free check-up /advice to elderly. Amplyclear Hearing & Speech Clinic had also set up a Hearing Advice counter under the care of Hearing Specialist Mr Ashish Mehta. Hearing specialist did thorough check with proper explanation.
