HOLI MILAN SAMAROH at Rajnagar


Preeti Sharma, Secretary (Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress) under the aegis of Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress (DPMC) organized “HOLI MILAN SAMAROH – 2013” on Saturday, 23 March, 2013 at F-Block, Raj Nagar-II, Palam Colony, New Delhi (Near Ration Office, Bijwasan Vidhan Sabha).

EMINENT PERSONALITIES  attended and enjoyed the colourful festival with the members & residents of the area, notable amongst them were – Smt. Abha Choudhary- President, Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress, Smt. Preeti Sharma-Secretary- Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress, Smt. Parminder Kaur- General Secretary, All India Mahila Congress, Shri Vijay Singh Lochav- Ex. MLA, Bijwasan Assembly, Shri. Praveen Kr. Rana-Councillor, Ward No. 141.

The programme started with welcoming the guests with ‘chandan tilak’ & flowers. This was followed by the cultural & colorful performances by the children’s of different ages. The festivities included a song by Khushi (vision impaired) conveying the message about child education and ‘Bharat desh hamara …’Also, Ghanakshi, kajal, Bhaavika, Sehej Unmukt, Bhumika, Yashi & Tashi performed on different songs. Then there was Dance & (Braj ki holi) holi with shower of flowers.
On the Occasion of ‘Holi Milan Samaroh 2013’ Mrs. Chanderwati Negi (80Years), Krishna Dahiya, Sunita Saini & Saraswati are being awarded for their continuous patronage to the Congress Party followed by the serving of refreshments.

Finally, Smt. Preeti Sharma, Secretary, DPMC has greeted the people on the joyous occasion of Holi. In her message, Preeti Sharma said that the Festival of Colours is a part of the texture of life of our people belonging to diverse faiths and persuasions. The spontaneity, joy and liveliness associated with its celebration symbolises the spirit of togetherness and harmony. Let the riot of colour yet again affirm our positive spirit of brotherhood and bring peace, prosperity and happiness in our lives. Smt. Abha Choudhary, President,DPMC has conveyed her greetings and best wishes to the Womens and all resident of India on the occasion of Holi.
