Times NIE had undertaken practical and meaningful project to hunt for literacy talents and promote them to bloom as creative writers in the field of journalism. Participants from around 200 schools from all over Delhi vied with one another to get selected for the prestigious summer camp and young writers.
Nisha Yadav of class XI, from R.D. Rajpal School, Dwarka cleared the written test on G.K., Current Affairs and English held recently at G.D. Salwan School and claimed a place among 48 aspiring writers. She will get the opportunity to grasp the tips on journalism by the National Editorial team who will be giving training and guidance to all those 48 students for one week from 26th May to 2nd June. They will have a session of around 3 hours daily with them in the camp. It is the golden opportunity for all the selected students to get hands on experience in the field of journalism with the dignitaries and professionals from the same field. The Principal of the school Ms. Alka Kshatriya, congratulated the student and conveyed her best wishes for the forth coming summer training camp.
