MONSOON REALY RACE, ORGANIZED BY THE INDIAN HEIGHTS SCHOOL

The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka hosted the ‘Monsoon Magic Rely Race’ in association with the Junior Sports India on August 21, 2014. The event was attended by the founder and Director of Junior Sports India,

Mr. Satinder Tanwar and the Principal, Ms. Archana Narain. Junior Sports India is an Australian concept of imparting physical education. It helps in the development of motor skills and co-ordination skills. This Inter-school Monsoon Relay carnival saw many participant Schools. The playground was marked with colourful hurdles and the students had to cross the huddles while carrying an empty mug in their hands and in the final lap they filled the mug from the bucket and returned to their starting point, empting it in a bucket and pass it on to the other partner. The group finishing first was the winner of the round. The event was full of enthusiasm. Even the sunny day could not spoil the flavor of the sports as excited participants and coaches and jubilant winners could be observed. The adrenalin rush was infectious and could be felt across the play ground. The audience enjoyed it thoroughly.

The C.R.P.F school, Dwarka bagged the Championship Trophy. Vandana International School, Dwarka bagged the 1st Runner Up Trophy and Indraprastha International School, Dwarka stood 3rd. A lot of sportsmanship and fair game was exhibited.
