Filled with vibrancy and zeal, the teachers and the students of class XI gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing class XII, batch 2018-19 on 2 February, 2019. The evening was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments.
The school ground was decorated with tents and banners; the stage was festooned with artifacts put up by the art department. The occasion was graced by the presence of our honorable Chairperson Smt. Pushpa Devi Bagrodia Ji and Mr. Raghav Bagrodia, along with other dignitaries like the reverent Shri. Dinesh Gupta, the trustee of N.K.Bagrodia Group of Educational Institutions, Mr. Mahender Aggarwal, a reputed member of the school management, Mrs. Manju Gupta, Dr. S.K.Bhattacharya, the Director of the school. We were also honoured to have, Mrs. Suneeta, the special invitee to the event and Mr.Gopinath, the parent representative in the school. Along with the dignitaries, the afternoon was also graced by the presence of the Principal of school, Mrs. Rajee N Kumar, the Vice- Principal, in-charges and teachers.
The day began with kindling the ceremonial lamp and paying floral tributes to our founder, Shri. N.K. Bagrodia Ji by the esteemed dignitaries. The anchors for the day, Aalok and Tanvi added hues of nostalgia to the day with their well-crafted words for the occasion. To celebrate the happy memories associated with school, a cultural programme was put up by the versatile students of class XI. A mesmerizing and lyrical dance performance was presented by the girls wherein they portrayed the significance of school days in the lives of each student wishing their seniors luck for future. The choir group melodiously sang its way through the afternoon when it recreated the school life and its experiences through a musical symphony. The students and the staff alike applauded the efforts put in by the students of class XI, which was well reflected in their performance.
The director of the school, Dr. S.K. Bhattacharya, blessed the outgoing batch of students through his inspiring words. He remarked how the students are the future of the world and if at all we see a hope to live in a better world in the future, it is because of the students that we nurture in our schools. Through his kind words, he wished the students success for their upcoming board exams and showed immense faith in them for bringing glory to the school which is known for its excellent academic performance.
The principal, Dr. Rajee N.Kumar further blessed the students emphasizing how it is important for them to hold close the values that the school has imparted to them no matter where they go and how much they grow up. She asked the students to stay in touch with the school and keep coming back to it in order to share their experiences in higher educational institutions.
The Head girl, Samridhi Ghai, and the Head Boy, Akshaj Krishnan, on behalf of their entire batch of students, thanked the dignitaries for their presence and invaluable blessings that they bestowed on them, the director for his words of wisdom, the Principal for her constant support and guidance, teachers for their selfless love and lessons and the juniors for an incredible show that they prepared for them.
Following this, mementos, as tokens of love and good wishes were distributed to the students by the dignitaries. The programme that started at 12:30 reached its colorful culmination close to 3:30 pm as the resplendent batch of class XII students, dressed up immaculately for the event, spent some quality time with their teachers and juniors.
