The children of Himhit C.G.H.S, Sec-22, Dwarka organized a plantation drive under the aegis of “Sukkh Dukh Ke Saath Sanstha” on 14 March 2016. The aim of this endeavor was to increase the Green Cover of the Society. 25 children of the Society participated in this event, in groups of two each and planted 15 saplings of “Ficus Panda” in the central park of the society. All the saplings were nurtured in the mini nursery by the gardeners employed by the society. A lecture was also delivered by Capt S.S Mann regarding the importance of “flora” in our surroundings. The children were so enthralled by the proceedings that they pledged to care for these plants in their free time.
