Sadbhavna Sammelan a tribute to Saint Kabir held in the Capital

A Seminar was organized in the memory of the great Indian Saint Kabir. According to Tillan Richhariya-(Organizer & Senior Journalist) Dr. Mahesh Sharma- Minister of State- Culture, Toursim & Civil Avvication(Independent Charge), Govt. of India was the Chief Guest along with Sharat Tripathi-M.P. (Saint Kabir Nagar) & Jagdambika Pal(M.P.) graced the occasion. The great contribution of Saint Kabir recalled by Aacharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji Maharaj, Scholar Baldev Vanshi, Former DGM-Aakashwani Radio-Laxmi Shankar Vajpai, Narayan Kumar, social activist B.L. Sharma, Ram Kumar Kashyap (M.P. Rajya Sabha), Aacharya Narender Das, Navin JaiHind, Lokesh Sharma also graced the Seminar with their views on Saint Kabir Saheb. More than five hundred people across the country attended this Sadbhavna Sammellan (Sadguru Kabir Saheb Prakat Utsav) held at Speaker Hall Annexue, Constitutional Club, New Delhi.

Kabir’s contribution, in the 15th-century in Indian mystic poet and Saint, whose writings influenced Hinduism’s Bhakti Moment and his verses are found in Sikhism’s scripture Adi Granth. His early life was in a Muslim family, but he was strongly influenced by his teacher, the Hindu bhakti leader Ramananda. According to Kabir theory True God is with the person who is on the path of righteousness, considered all creatures on earth as his own self, and who is passively detached from the affairs of the world. To know God, suggested Kabir, meditate with the mantra Rama Rama. Kabir’s legacy survives and continued through the Kabir Panth (“Path of Kabir”), a religious community that recognises him as its founder and is one of the Sant Mat sects. Its members are known as Kabir Panthis.
