SANKALP SAHODAYA MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONDUCTED AT NKBPS, DWARKA

N. K.Bagrodia Public School Dwarka as a co host organized Sankalp Sahodaya Model United Nations 2018-19 on January 14th, 2019. Around Twelve schools—St Mary’s, Maxfort, CRPF, Pragati Public School, R.D.Rajpal, SVIS,VIS,NKBPS Rohini, NKBGS Dwarka, NKBPS Dwarka, Basava International participated of South west Zone Dwarka. The event began with the Lighting of the Lamp followed by a melodious Group Song presented by the Young Brigades of Middle wing of Bagrodian Fraternity. The Secretary General Tanvi Purohit gave the Welcome Address,  introduced the members of the Excecutive Board, highlighted the rules & regulations of the  Sankalp Sahodaya Model United Nations and declared the meet Open. The Committee highlighted for the Session was United Nations General Assembly. The agenda taken by UNGA was—Perils of Indifference –Human Rights Violation. The  Schools along with their representative countries Participated in the Sankalp Sahodaya Model United Nations were– SVIS, Sector 18, Dwarka—Afghanistan, NKBPS ROHINI—Australia, St.Marys, Dwarka—Japan, Pragati Public School Dwarka—France, C.R.P.F Public School Dwarka—Pakistan, The Indian Heights School,Dwarka—Russia, VIS, Sector 10, Dwarka– South Africa, NKBGS,Dwarka—Spain, R.D.Rajpal—Switzerland, NKBPS DWARKA—UK, Basava International—USA, Maxfort—Germany.  The Executive Board was Headed by the students of Class XI—Humanities stream— SECRETARY GENERAL—Tanvi Purohit, Deputy Sec Gen—Jagriti CHAIRPERSON– Shreya Sharma,  VICE CHAIRPERSON– Annurati, RAPPORTEUR—Hemang Sharma.

The delegates represented their views with full confidence and zeal. The young minds exchanged their thoughts to curb the Agenda of Human Rights Violation by highlighting the points, data & research work done by the members of the Sankalp Sahodaya Model United Nations.

The closing ceremony was graced by Ms Lakshmi Hariharan, Founder-Director-Spectra Genie-an organization pioneered in the field of training & assistance provided to the young beginners in MUNs.

The Future leaders were Awarded for showing their skills of creativity, presentation Research Work & Data collection. The Best delegate was bagged by Basava International School, Dwarka representing the country USA. The High commendation was given to CRPF Public School representing the country Pakistan. The best position paper was bagged by Pragati Public School represented by the country France. The Chief guest of the event Ms Lakshmi Hariharan gave her words of wisdom sharing the thoughts of World Peace, respecting every individual’s Rights & proposing for the steps taken by the member nations to achieve the Human Rights for the world. She gave her advice to the members of the  Executive Board and the delegates to brush up their skills and applaud for their commendable efforts. The Principal of the School gave away the vote of thanks and put across her views of continuing the learning process from the “Womb to the Tomb”. She appreciated the efforts put by the Executive Board and the guest delegates. The Session culminated with the learning of “–Rights For All”
