There has been a stupendous progress in the field of technology and science because of which today’ generation is fascinated with hi-tech gadgets and gizmos. The importance of technology in our daily life is undeniable. This inspired the team of Sri VIS to organize an Inter-School competition ‘Techies & Gizmos’ on 18th January, 2011.
The annual inter-school competition will see the students showcasing their logical n spatial intelligence in three events –
M-Gizmos – Math curricular support model for Class VI students,
Sci-Techies – Quiz based on biological, physical and computer sciences for Classes VII & VIII students
Cyberians – Web page designing for Class VIII students.
Participation in the event will give an opportunity to the budding scientists to design and invent devices as per their imagination or compete in a battle of bits, bytes, wits and nerves. The event is definitely going to stir a buzz among the young middle school students and take them ahead in the field of technology.
