Sri VIS having Global Partnership with Ysgol Cynwyd Sant, Wales, UK


The schools came together for undertaking collaborative projects under UKIERI –United Kingdom and India Educational Initiative 2008-11, International School Award Partnership 2011-12 and the Connecting Classroom GSP or Global School Partnership 2012-13.

Ms Nita Arora Principal, Sri VIS, Secotr-18, Dwarka and Ms Renuka Chander GSP Coordinator are on an exchange visit at Ysgol Sant Cynwyd. A week of learning and sharing in two schools of Wales followed by visiting London, Scotland and Moscow has marks the visit.

They have left a lasting impression on the psyche of Welsh Schools that they visited through the sharing of projects done by the Sri VIS community. They also took classes in Storytelling, Science, Indian Dance, Art and cooking.

Ms Tegwen Ellis, the Head Teacher along with the Deputy Head Ms Rebecca Morgan and the Activity In charge Ms Rhian Cornish had earlier visited Sri VIS in the month of Feb 2013 and a lot of collaborative learning took place.

Interconnected world, sharing of educational technology, purposeful innovation defines the British Council ongoing Global School Partnership that these two schools share for more than last four years.
