Swachhata Pakhwada organised by the CCRT

As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada organised by the Centre for Cultural Resources and
Training (CCRT), a Shramadan activity was conducted at the headquarters in New Delhi to clean
the campus from inside and outside by clearing out thetrash and garbage’s from surroundings.

The Shramadan has been successful due to the active involvement of members in good number
from different Departments and Sections of CCRT. Additionally, members of Dwarka Forum
and members of nearby group housing societies of Dwarka sub-city also joined their hands in
this initiative. Therefore, the activity was a perfect example of Jan Spandan (Peoples
participation).

Dr.Hemlata S Mohan Hon’ble Chairperson conveyed her joy for the involvement of residents of
Dwarka in this cleanliness drive. Shri. Rishi Vashist, Director CCRT explained about the
objective and purpose of the Shramadan in general and broadly regarding continuity of the
campaign with the unstinting support of RWAs.

Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Deputy Director Training and Nodal Officer of Swacchata Action Plan
(SAP), CCRT briefed the members about activities of Swachhata Pakhwada and other
procedural details of the Shramadan.

Heads of different Sections led from the front in an exemplary way by thoroughly participating
in the Shramadan and coordinating their teams. Everyone present actively participated in this
initiative and encouraged others to engage in the Shramadan diligently.
The Shramadan programme ended with the vote of thanks to all the participants.
