Table Soccer Championship at ADARSH WORLD SCHOOL, Sector 12 Dwarka
The Independence Day Table Soccer Championship was organised at ADARSH WORLD SCHOOL, Sector 12 Dwarka on 24th August 2008. The event witnessed the participation of over 100 students from 20 schools, G.D. Goenka, Manav Sthali, Adarsh Public, Ryan Int’ll, Ramjas and Blooming Dales to name a few.
The competition was conducted by Delhi Table Soccer Association (D.T.S.A.), led by its President Mr Vijender. The Chief Guest for the Inauguration Mr Rishi Malhotra, Supreme Court Laywer highlighted the participants, the importance of Sports in life. He also declared the Meet open.
The students played enthusiastically in all categories namely, singles / doubles & mixed doubles for boys and girls in the age categories ranging from 6 yrs – over 18 yrs. The prize distribution function was witnessed by Mr Anil Chaudhary, President- Delhi Youth Congress and Mr P.K. Sahgal- Chairman Adarsh Chain schools. They gave away the prizes including the Overall Champions Trophy which was bagged by Blooming Dales School. The Organising Secretary was all praise for her team of dedicated staff and Sports Incharge Ms Rekha, for the excellent conduct of the Championship.
