Taekwondo by a South Korean Kukkiwon Master in Sri VIS

It is important that games be taught by those who have perfected the art. Sri Venkateshwar International School is the only school in NCR having a South Korean Coach, Master Myeong Yongken Kim for teaching Taekwondo.
School also hosted 20 member National Kukkiwon Team from South Korea for a display cum training for its students, parents and neighbouring schools of Sankalp Sahodaya Complex, Dwarka.
The morning training programme focuses on Basketball, Football, Cricket, Athletics, Skating, Yoga, Rope Skipping, Badminton, Swimming among many others. It is often seen that merely playing a game does not exercise the small muscles and leads to injury on the sports field. In order to increase the fitness level Milkha Singh’s Sure Fit programme addresses the need for exercising all small muscles and trains the students for the importance of regular fitness regime. Before and after school programmes are as important for developing a culture of games as within school hours sports initiatives.
