THE GREEN CORRIDOR PROJECT (GCP) by JMIS

We are ecstatic to share with everyone that we all at JM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ( JMIS) have planted around 800 to 900 saplings under our dear initiative ‘ THE GREEN CORRIDOR PROJECT (GCP)’ which is a part of our eco club ‘ VASUDHA’. In this project we asked each and every child from pre-nursery to class 7th to plant a sapling and bring it to the school where they would place it in the corridor outside their classrooms. We tried to inculcate the values like ownership, gratitude, eco- friendliness etc. This project not only made them responsible, but also helped them to feel fresh, get more oxygen and last but not the least made them smile often whenever they pass by their plant and say “ that one is mine”.
