The Indian Heights School welcomes Girl students from Kashmir under Community Outreach Program

Chairperson Ms. Madhu Gupta, Principal Ms. Archana Narain with girl students from kashmir

As an initiative to building bridges, The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka, joined hands with ‘The First Maratha Light Infantry Battalion’ of the Indian Army to welcome 30 girl students from the far flung areas of terrorist affected Kashmir state. This visit provided an exposure to the young girls who have never moved beyond their own villages. It was also an opportunity for our students to understand and empathise with these girls on the prevailing situations in the northern region of our country. It is our endeavour to contribute towards restoring peace to the disturbed areas of Jammu & Kashmir as the message parted by our Principal, Ms. Archana Narain is also that ‘Development takes place where there is peace and harmony’.
