VENKATESHWAR HOSPITAL, Dwarka, New Delhi in association with DWARKA FORUM organised an Academic Session on Orthopaedics and Nephrology (Kidney Diseases) on Saturday, the 13th July, 2019 at the auditorium of the Hospital.
The first session on the topic “Prevention and Management of Osteoarthritis of Knee Joint” was addressed by Dr. R. K. Pandey, Senior Consultant, Department of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement. The Second Session on the topic “Chronic Kidney Disease, Diagnosis and Management” was addressed by Dr Gaurav Sahai, Consultant, Department of Nephrology. Besides the members of Dwarka Forum, a large number of residents of Dwarka Sub City attended these informative sessions. Lot of attendees raised queries related to both the subjects, which were well answered by the speakers upto their satisfaction. More emphasis was given on prevention of Joint Disease and Kidney Disease, although the treatment part was also well covered.
Most of the attendees appreciated both the sessions and requested to have more such academic sessions. General Secretary of Dwarka Forum, Arvinder Singh Chhatwal assured to organise more such academic sessions in near future.
