WBO celebrated its annual World Brotherhood Day

WBO, dedicated to serve mankind and upliftment of downtrodden, celebrated its annual World Brotherhood Day and concomitant New Year, Christmas and Sports Day on 21st December 2014 at Marwah Lotto Farm, New Delhi with great fervor and fun.

Formal inauguration of the event was made by lightning the traditional lamp followed by the whole day of fun-filled entertainment and luscious feast for a huge gathering of about 1000 guests, comprising of WBO members, their families and friends, bureaucrats, diplomats, celebrities and other distinguished guests from all walks of life. Ambassadors and High Commissioners of various Countries participated in the function.

After National Anthem in the beginning, two minutes silence was also observed to pay homage to the children killed by Taliban terrorists in Peshawar Pakistan.

Despite heavy cold weather the event gained momentum of incessant entertainment with activities like Painting & fancy dress competition, Free Tambola, Dance Competition for children and couples & other Cultural programmes. The highlight of the program was Tug Of War between Indians (WBO Members) & Foreigners (Ambassadors & High Commissioners of various countries). Prizes were distributed to the winners of competitions.

The souvenir of  World Brotherhood Organisation (Regd.) was released by executive members of WBO. It has messages from prominent personalities, National & International activities since year 2000, photographs of WBO members etc.

The event ended with Group Dance by the members of the Organisation and words of thanks by the Hony. Secretary General Mr. Surinder Marwah to all the distinguished guests for their esteemed presence that enhanced glory of the event.
