Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress organized Welcome Ceremony & a support meeting for DUSU election 2013-14′ at Rajiv Bhawan, 2 Rouse Avenue, DDU Marg, New Delhi. Eminent personalities of Congress attended and addressed the meeting, notable amongst them were – Dr Shakeel Ahmad Gen secretary-AICC Dr. (Smt.) Prabha Kishor Taviad- MP, Secretary-AICC (Incharge – Mahila Congress), Smt. Shobha Ojha, National President- Mahila Congress, Shri Jai Prakash Agarwal, President-Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, Shri Kuljeet Nagra, Secretary-AICC (Incharge- Delhi Pradesh), Shri Girish Chodankar, Secretary- AICC (Incharge-NSUI), Smt. Onika Mehrotra, President-Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress, Shri. Rohit Choudhary, National President-NSUI, Shri Ankit Dedha, President-NSUI (Delhi State).Almost a thousand women and students participated in the program.
All guests are warmly welcomed by representatives of Mahila Congress. On this occasion Smt. Onika Mehrotra, President-Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress honoured Dr. (Smt.) Prabha Kishor Taviad- MP, by presenting a memento and saree. She also honoured Shri Jai Prakash Agarwal, , Shri Kuljeet Nagra, Shri Girish Chodankar, Shri. Rohit Choudhary andShri Ankit Dedha by presenting a shawl.
All the speakers spoke in detail in the program on the topic of ‘how to campaign for NSUI candidates in DUSU election2013-14.’ Finally, Smt. Onika Mehrotra-President(DPMC) addressed the gathering. In her message, she appealed to the electorate to vote in favour of NSUI panel. She also added that Delhi Mahila Congress will contribute actively in the DUSU election and promised all possible support.
