It is said a child is the father of man. It was amply at display in MS Talks first solo event under the watchful eyes of Ms Kulvinder Kaur a strong pillar of ‘MS Talks India’ with her maiden ‘Public Speaking – Kids Talent Hunt’ Session and Workshop at SK Crown Plaza New Delhi on 23rd June.
Credit goes to Author Sherry Founder President MS Talks India,TEDx Speaker, JOSH Talks Speaker, who is coming up with innovative ways to remove the stage fright of speaking up at podium and in encouraging the youth to share and listen inspiring stories and achievements. The concept of Kids Talent Hunt was mooted by Kulvinder Kaur duly supported by Dr Gurmeet Kaur Gill, Renowned Educator and President Awardee; Gurpreet Singh Batra, Fitness Expert, Ms Anu Dheer, as Jury Members, Bandhan Preet Mahajan, Dr. Kusum Verma, Ruchika Dhawan, Renu Mittal, Abhishek Mitra, Special invitees, Ms Prachi Singh Edutainment Expert & Image Consultant, Advocate Subhash Sharma Secretary General and Mukesh Bhatnagar, Secretary MS Talks India. Guest of honor was Sh Sushil Bharti Renownd Film Maker Marwah Studios, NOIDA.
22 kids were selected for final round, divided into two groups, Category A (Age Group 5 – 10) and Category B (Age Group 10 – 15).

It proved to be an amazing start up for the children to realize and explore their talent and potentiality. The kids were found escalated and parents excited. The performances were the testimony of their grooming and upbringing and direction to their future. So much so it forced Author Sherry to remark – “You all inspired me to keep moving forward with my mission to create one million speakers in India by 2030. Thank you and we at MS Talks will bring more such special event in your life.”
Overall winner adjudged by the Secretary General – MS Talks and Honourable Jury Members won the AHOY Bicycle Mementoes of participation and certificates were presented to all the kids and the speakers. Prachi Singh involved the kids with a unique activity of harmony and togetherness. Mukesh Bhatnagar highlighted in his short speech that more than the competition, it is the spirit behind that matters. ‘Kids needs to be kids, and should not overburden themselves before the age and enjoy their childhood. Each time you enjoy yourself, you excel’- he said.
Baby Priya stunned everybody by her oratorical skills at just the age of 5 and was declared overall winner to grab the Bicycle. Though each participant gave his/her best but some winners have to be there. in category A – Priya Jain, Sumit and Rithvi Kaushik stole the honors. In category B – Parth, Tanav Sawhney and Daksh were adjudged winners.
The feedback and testimony by the kids and mothers received in social media speaks volume of the success of the event and shows the relevance and importance of such events in the confidence building of kids as a repository of the Nation.
