The sportsman spirit promoted by R.D. Rajpal School won wide acclaim when its student, Kaushiki Sharma of class III won the third position in the 3 kilometers race in the ‘Run for Unity’ event hosted by Mt. Carmel School. Kaushiki won the 3rd position from among 102 girl participants. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000/-, a T-Shirt, a cap and a Trophy. This “marvel –on- skates” has many more creditable performances in her account. She has also won gold medal in 1000 Mt. Road Race and bronze Medal in 500 mt. Rink Race at Remal Public School where she participated in the North Zone 1 CBSE Skating Competition. Her victory becomes remarkable because she won this credit from among almost 50 participants in the age group under 10 years from the state of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi.
She won gold medal in 300 mt and 500 mt. Rink races and 1000 mt Road race at the 40th Delhi State Roller Skating Competition held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Bawana.
She went on the winning spree by obtaining the silver medal in the 1000 mt. Road race at the CBSE National Skating Competition held at Ameya Classic International Rink at Virar, Mumbai. This keenly contested event saw neck-to-neck competition from 20 winners from the 6 zones, all over the country. Principal, Alka Kshatriya praised her achievements and wished that she lives as role model to others.
