201st Birth Anniversary of Louis Braille Celebration in Dwarka

Blind Persons Association celebrated the 201st Birth Anniversary of Louis Braille on Sunday, the 3rd January, 2010 at Dwarka Health Club, Sector-7, Dwarka, Delhi.
According to Mr.Anil Kumar Verma-the President of the association, the celebration included different programme like Kavi Sammelan, Cultural programme – vandana, welcome song, gazals were the main attraction of the celebration. Sh. Joginder Singh (former Director-C.B.I.) was the Chief Guest of the occasion who distributed the prizes to the meritorius girls students. Few people pledged their eyes to the Venu Eye Institute, Naresh Lamba – Social Development Welfare Society, Surat Karan – Saksham Foundation, Sushil Garg & S.S.Dogra also attended the programme.
