In my long years of experience with IIM, I have witnessed that pedigree of the alma-mater matters little in the corporate world. He amplified by stating that the 15/20 minutes of the interview is more a matter of chance than any other factor. What is important is your attitude and commitment. He specifically referred to IIM Rohtak whose emblem has the National bird of India, the glorious ‘Peacock’ ”. He concluded by saying that whatever position one reaches in life, the institute and the teachers must always be remembered and one should do whatever is possible for the growth of the institute .
